That phrase pretty much describes this journal. I speak the truth, otherwise what is the point of writing or expression?
I started this journal back in 2001, still a freshman in college. Since then I've graduated with a degree in journalism, moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, gotten married, moved back to Indiana and been through a few thousand ups and downs in the process. I don't believe in censoring myself, so I won't make my back-dated entries private. Unfortunately, this is the day and age where some things you say on your personal time can get you fired, so a few of the entries may be friends only in the future. For the most part, I plan to keep my life open. I believe that's the fun thing about Livejournal or MySpace or any other blogging website out there.
